Biography

An alumnus of Fordham University, Lobley's background is in sketch comedy and improvisation. He additionally voiced many celebrity opponents on MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch, further establishing himself as a versatile and talented performer in both recreated and original characterizations. His most familiar role, however, is as Sparks, the sarcastic communications officer from the Adult Swim series Sealab 2021. He has also recorded many audio books. These include A Warrior's Heart, (the 2012 autobiography of Micky Ward from the movie The Fighter), the popular Geronimo Stilton series, and dozens of children's titles, as well.

In 2009, his work in the Geronimo Stilton Series[1] earned the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Children's Audio Book from the Independent Book Publishers' Association.

Additionally, his voice can be heard on a number of successful video and computer games, including Grand Theft Auto V, BioShock Infinite, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, Borderlands 2, The Darkness II, L.A. Noire, BioShock 2, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV (and its expansions, Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned, and Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony), Alan Wake, "Order Up," Star Wars: The Old Republic and Mafia II, among others.

Other animation credits include Ice Age: Continental Drift and several eccentric characters in Nickelodeon's 2014 Online Series, "Welcome to the Wayne."

A food enthusiast, he is the creator and host of the Crazy Dinner Party website. As the site's online cooking expert, he tackles cultural events with irreverent humor and interesting recipes; resulting in unusual dinner party themes, like Occupy Wall Street, the Gulf Oil Spill, Swine Flu Prevention, the Final Four, TSA Patdowns, and his frequent Crazy Oscar Dinners, which cleverly incorporate the names of Academy Awards nominees into the menu.

Lobley recently reunited with his onetime rock group The Richie Beakman Band, which combines original tunes with intriguing covers of 80's favorites.

Along with recent comedic On Camera work in commercials, he recently appeared with Academy Award Winner Jennifer Hudson touting the Affordable Care Act playing a clueless, philandering Senator for the popular Funny or Die website.
